Notes on the bar
Keep it on a draining dish. A cold-process bar left sitting in water softens and will not last the way it should. The lavender buds on top are decorative and come away with use.

Cinnamon sugar
A warm baked scent, sweeter than the cocoa suggests. Ground lavender goes in with the cocoa, so there is a faint herbal note underneath.

Coloured by cocoa, not pigment
Cocoa powder colours the whole bar — no colourant needed. Gold mica and whole lavender buds sit on top and will loosen with use.

Shea butter and avocado oil soften the bar. Plant-based throughout — no lard, no dairy.

Cold process, small batch, cured a minimum of four weeks before it leaves the workshop.

Process
Cold process. Cocoa powder colours the bar all the way through, with a cinnamon-sugar fragrance. Gold mica and whole lavender buds are set into the surface once the loaf is in the mould.

Ingredients
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Water (Aqua), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Sodium Hydroxide†, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Powder, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Powder, Sodium Lactate, Kaolin, Mica (CI 77019).
† Sodium hydroxide is the alkali that turns oils into soap. None remains in the finished bar.
Warnings
- Patch test before first use, even on a gentle bar: work a little lather onto the inside of your forearm, rinse, and leave it 24 hours. If any redness, itching or stinging appears, stop and do not use the bar. Every skin is different.
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
- Keep out of reach of children.
